New Superintendent

My biggest challenge will be to get buy in from the principals and the
directors. There seems to be somewhat of a separation from the
curriculum and instruction department and the science and math reform
NSF program. I am glad that I am here to bridge those feelings. I am
taking my director to the meeting in Atlanta so that she can see first
hand other districts and the NSF staff moving into a positive effort.
It will give her an opportunity to net work and engage in good
discussion and professional development that is concentrated. I will
also need to work with the NSF team and help them understand that their
program is not outside of the C & I department.
