Lesson Plan Impact
|
We definitely feel there is an impact on student learning. The
teachers now have a focus to their lessons. They state the main
objective and match the assessments to it, leading them to the gist of
the lesson, which provides the students a common experience that they
can use to develop their own explanations. The teachers are reminded
to use an extension activity…application of the concept, a necessary
component that is often forgotten. We also emphasize the need for
closure of the lesson, wrapping up the day’s learning.
