Scientists in the classroom
|
The fact that you spend time in the classroom doing observation of
teachers practices in the delivery of science content and taking some
of those strategies when you do your presentations, gives you a lot of
credibility. Teachers prefer presentations by those that have
experience in the delivery of content instruction and not just theory.
I wish more scientists spent time in the K-12 classrooms getting first
hand knowledge of how students learn.
