subject:	Getting Board Interest

All of the suggesions for getting Board interest are good based on our
experience. one other approach is to get a reported from your local
paper to write an article on what is going on in science. Let them
observe science lessons where kids are really involved in inquiry, talk
to students and teachers to get the human interest angle they can build
a story on. Show them some of the data that is becomign available on
improving student performnace. Publicity like that can have profound
impact on Board members.
