"Shared Vision"

I totally agree that that we need to take the time to develop shared
visions. And, I also agree that this requires open and honest dialogue
and reflection. What I was wondering is who is the "your" in your
question about comparing schools who are farthest away from "your"
shared vision ?
Your question has caused me to really thinkg about how we use the
phrase "shared vision". I'm realizing that it's not "shared" if schools
or districts are "far away from it" -- it sounds like a matter of
symantics but I'm beginning the realize that we all need to be much
more careful about this phrase. We certainly want to devleop a "shared
vision" among all of the players but its not yet "shared" if only some
of the players buy in.
