Original VisionThe vision in our proposal was to provide all K-8 students in the CRSEP Districts with the opportunity to develop their understanding of science and the knowledge and skills required to meet the New York State Learning Standards for Science. The strategy we proposed was to use assessment as vehicle, working with teachers to design formative assessments aligned with the Science and Technology for Children (STC) Units they were implementing and summative assessments (end-of-year) assessments aligned with STC and with the New York State Elementary Science Core Curriculum (ESCC) and the Intermediate Science Core Curriculum (ISCC).
